When a Ministry of Labour inspector or other workplace safety authority is reported nearby, eligible users can receive location-based alerts and see the report on the interactive map.

Imagine several crews working at different residential, commercial or industrial jobsites within the same area. One worker reports a nearby workplace safety authority sighting, and eligible nearby users can benefit from that information.
A community member spots a Ministry of Labour inspector or other workplace safety authority in the area.
The sighting is submitted through Safety Inspector Alert and appears on the interactive map with report time, location area and distance from nearby users.
Eligible users within their selected alert distance can receive a notification and see the report on the map.
